It's competent for what it is and it's probably for somebody but not for me. It is a far cry from being as interesting as Limbo or Inside even with the VR aspect. I would buy those games again if they were made in VR if the developers happen to read this. I wonder if this game was ever play-tested. I've ended my play through having to turn my head by 90 degrees and controller being all over the place. And since whole PS UI worked as intended, this problem sure is an in-game bug. Puzzles were so secondary and light-weight, it makes me wonder how it's even possible to screw them so badly. From idea to animations, to mechanics, to puzzles, to UI — this game feels so sloppy, it makes me wonder if it was just a result of a one-week hackatone, which no-one ever bothered to polish. Good thing it is short.

It is as if the 2d game is on a screen and you are in a movie theater, but the theater changes based on what's happening on the screen. So as the character is in a forest, you, the viewer, are in a vr forest, with butterflies flying around you in vr. Elements from what is on the screen, seep out into the vr space and surround you.
And at one point there are gameplay elements involved in this. It's kind of like one of those 4D movies, or like Limbo in 4D. If you liked Limbo or Inside, do yourself a favor and get this game. 1) The game uses traditional parallax scrolling to give the view of the platforming simulated 'depth' so I'm surprised it doesn't use stereo 3D instead. Seems like it would have taken minimal effort and I'm sure it's just a stylistic choice but I personally think adding stereo depth instead would have been better.2) The loading time seems excessive and has to be tolerated at every death. It is full of hidden death mechanics like making you run then killing you if you don't jump at a particular moment that you only find out about by dying and reloading. I'm using a PS4 Pro with an SSD and the waiting puts me off continuing the game.
I've just finished it. I think it's a nice experience. Gameplay wise it's close to limbo. I loved limbo, this is shorter and not as good, but I still enjoyed it. For me worth the 9 Euros, even with only 1.5 hours or so.The VR doesn't add too much.
It's basically a theatre which changes as the game settings change. Sometimes you need to interact with objects in the theatre to make things happen in the game. A nice touch, but unfortunately it's almost only limited to mundane tasks like lowering a bridge or operating a crane. Only during one chapter you do a bit more, shining a flashlight and actually looking around in the theatre. I would have loved to have a lot more and different interactions like that.
That would have made the game a true VR game, and would have made it much more than a Limbo like side scrolled.
