Dynasty Warriors is an upcoming Hong Kong fantasy-action film based on the Japanese video game franchise of the same title by Koei Tecmo. Directed by Roy Chow, the film starred cast members from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, including Louis Koo, Carina Lau, Wang Kai, Tony Yang, Han Geng, Justin Cheung, Gulnazar and Ray Lui. Now, Dynasty Warriors is one of the most popular war games in Japan and America. This game has also spread through cosplay and online RPGs due to its high popularity. Dynasty Warriors (三國無双, Sangoku Musou, lit. Three Kingdoms Unmatched; or 真・三國無双, Shin Sangoku Musou, lit. True Three Kingdoms Unmatched) is a series of Hack-n-slash action games started by Koei and created by Omega Force. In that tradition, Mad Dash Racing lacks emotional appeal; it's a character game without likeable characters. Several furry critters - a wisecracking cat, a crude hog, and a raging weasel among them - run, jump, climb, swim, and slide their way through colourful fantasy tracks, grabbing power-ups and tackling each other along the way.

Remember the PlayStation game Running Wild? There's a good reason - the 'funny animals in footraces' genre tends to feel forced. The bright visuals look colourful and a little weird - sort of what Tim Burton would create if he suddenly became happy. However, animated hijinks deserve looney tunes, not bad-ass, out-of-place techno beats from Fatboy Slim and Crystal Method. The rewardingly varied controls are the game's best asset; swimming through lakes and scaling dinosaur ribcages adds some enjoyable manual dexterity to the go-forward repetition.However, for all its shiny visuals and four-player races, Mad Dash Racing elicits nothing more than a noncommittal shrug. The stars are animals without an anima, and as a result, it's just a rental.

Mad Dash Racing is a racing game for the original xbox developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos Interactive. It was released as a launch title in November of 2001 (at the time this game’s system was released). This also voices of Billy West.

Plot[edit]

On a little island on Trem Land, a crazed wizard named Hex, plans to take over the world using red meteor chunks. He can't do this on his own so he plans to set up an event to get all the meteor chunks and return them to Hex.

A number of nasty characters have signed up to the event, think that they have the guts to find the meteor chunks. All the characters don't know of what Hex is doing, so he waits until all the meteor chunks have been gathered for world domination. Hex mentions that for the one who brings back all the meteorchunks, will win a pig. Not according to the contract, one of the contestants named Sid, said that they win a Magic Sceptre. One of the Tremmals (Hex's Henchmen) saying agree with it, so Hex did. This is where the game begins.

Gameplay[edit]

The Characters are split into four different groups. Bashers, Dashers, Gliders, and Bosses. Bashers are able to break through certain objects. Dashers are able to gain quick boosts, Gliders are able to jump farther or glide, and Bosses are able to have all the powers.^[1] Players can collect 10 green meteor chunks and become a Tribrid. As a Tribrid players can have Bashers, Dashers and Gliders with just using one character. There are 9 tracks all together in the game. Different tracks have different settings. Numerous licensed music tracks were featured in the game.^[2]

Reception[edit]

The game received 'mixed' reviews according to the review aggregation website Metacritic.^[3] In Japan, where the game was ported for release on May 30, 2002, Famitsu gave it a score of 28 out of 40.^[5]
